Speaker at the SIP Longevity Conference in Zürich

By 22. April 2025No Comments

It was a distinct honour to speak at the SIP Longevity Conference on April 3, 2025, held at the Hyatt in Zurich.

My talk was entitled: “Why Wealthy Patients Are Most at Risk – Greed, Malpractice and Liability in Medicine.”

The focus of my lecture was a critical examination of why semi-privately insured or self-paying patients may be at greater risk of medical harm. Financial incentives, lack of transparency, and systemic imbalances can, in these cases, lead to serious consequences.

It was truly enriching to engage with the diverse and thought-provoking presentations delivered by esteemed experts across various fields – an outstanding interdisciplinary exchange that offered meaningful perspectives on the future of healthcare.

My sincere thanks go to my co-speaker Prof. Dr. Paul Vogt, as well as to Christian Kälin, for the profound and stimulating panel discussion.

Participating in this conference was not only a privilege, but also a valuable personal and professional experience.
